The wrestling world has been in a state of shock ever since it was announced by PW Torch that Scott Hall, known as Razor Ramon to many, is on life support after three heart attacks over the weekend.

Hall had hip replacement surgery last week after a broken hip, but suffered complications after the surgery. According to friend and wrestler Kevin Nash, Hall’s family will take him off life support when they get the opportunity.

“Scott’s on life support. Once his family is in place they will discontinue life support,” Nash posted on his Instagram. “I’m going to lose the one person on this planet I’ve spent more of my life with than anyone else. My heart is broken and I’m so very f—–g sad. I love Scott with all my heart but now I have to prepare my life without him in the present.”

WWE would later confirm that Hall passed away before its Monday Night Raw program.

Hall, 63, competed all over the wrestling world. He made himself known in WWE as Razor Ramon, winning the Intercontinental Title four times. He and Shawn Michaels competed in the first WWE ladder match at WrestleMania X. Outside of WWE, Hall was a member of The Outsiders in WCW with Nash, and eventually formed the New World Order with Nash and Hulk Hogan in 1996. The group ended up changing the wrestling world forever.

Outside of WWE and WCW, Hall competed for Impact Wrestling, the National Wrestling Alliance, AWA and ECW. A two-time WWE Hall of Famer, Hall had issues outside of the ring with drugs and alcohol. Thanks to the help of Diamond Dallas Page, Hall was able to turn it around.

The wrestling world paid tribute to Hall on social media, with friends and current wrestlers honoring “The Bad Guy.”
