Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder delivered on the hype. The two boxers were meeting in the third and presumably final clash between boxing heavyweight icons. Fury and Wilder started the fight close with the two trading blows early.

The curtain has been drawn on one of boxing’s finest careers after Manny Pacquiao announced on Wednesday he was hanging up the gloves for good. The only boxer ever to win world titles in eight different divisions, the 42-year-old Filipino described retiring as the “hardest decision” he’s ever made.

LAS VEGAS — When the final bell rang, Manny Pacquiao knew it. The 17,438 fans at T-Mobile Arena knew it. The thousands watching at home knew it. But we all needed to hear it just to be sure.

This probably isn’t the way that Manny Pacquiao pictured his prolific career coming to an end. Unlike most fighters, Pacquiao wanted to end his career against the toughest opponent he could find.

Manny Pacquiao will challenge Yordenis Ugas for the WBA (Super) Welterweight championship at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on August 21. The two were paired when Pacquiao’s original opponent, WBC and IBF champion Errol Spence Jr.
